Molly was raised and born in Pennsylvania. She began her professional stage career when she was thirteen and was a part of the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. After that, she portrayed Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for a Barrymore Award. It was recast by Molly when she made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. She received an award from the Drama League Award for this performance. Molly also appeared on Broadway for the production in Fiddler on the Roof. She graduated in 2008 and graduated with her B.A. from Princeton University. In Religion. In addition, she was a part of Disney's College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly was able to begin her professional career after having completed her Off-Broadway stage debuts, such as End Days and The Wonderful Maladys on HBO Pilot. Molly was in the in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and in 2010 Westport Country Playhouse's production of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly's best-known performance is on the set of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) as Ali the teenage daughter. Molly also appeared in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's The 25th Annual County Spelling Bee in 2008.
