Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22, 1985, in New York City New York) has received acclaim for her ability to act across different genres ranging from period dramas to thrillers to action adventures. Johansson has a father who is a filmmaker and architect. She was raised by New York City. Hunter Her twin brother and She were both the youngest out of a family of four. At the age of seven years old, she began casting for commercials on television. The passion for acting developed quickly, and she was soon after in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Johansson starred next as a character in Just Cause (1995), after which she made her debut with Manny & Lo - a story about two sisters, orphans that are able to escape. The Horse Whisperer (2000) the film in which she played a teenager with a deformity because of an accident earned an acclaim from critics. In Ghost World 2001 (as the teenager who is a cynical outcast Rebecca) Johansson received even more recognition. When she performed her stage debut with Wildflower she would also work on different projects across USA. She was educated in Stonestreet Studios, the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
